A unique bowl perfect for fruit. I will be making more of these but each one will be different.
I make the coils from stoneware clay then join them to make rings. There’s no measuring, I just make lots of different sizes and join them together over an upturned bowl.
Once the bowl is carefully dried out it is bisque fire to around 1000 degrees. I then dip the bottom half of the bowl in clear glaze and then flip it over and dip the top half in Denim glaze. Making sure they overlap so that in the glaze firing they flow into each other.
