This simple little dish is handmade on the pottery wheel. Once the basic shape is made I make a swirl pattern in the base and a lip for the spoons handle to sit in.
Once the clay has dried out the piece goes in the kiln for its bisque firing. It is then dipped in glaze and returned to the kiln and fired to 1210 degrees C. The swirl in the base brings out a lovely affect in the glazes.
The finished piece is microwave and dishwasher proof and food safe.
The dish is between 12cm and 1cm in diameter.
